4 Easy Ways to Clear and Radiant Skin

Looking after skin has become more important than ever

Looking after skin has become more important than ever. It’s not about investing in expensive products or booking over-priced treatments. There are simple things that we can do to look after our skin that don’t require money or much time. Here are the 4 easy ways to clear and radiant skin.

1) You Are What You Eat

An over-used phrase, but still very valid today. Eating a healthy balanced diet made up of veggies, salads, fruits, proteins and nuts is a way forward to beautiful skin.
Recommended foods should be rich in Vitamin C (red and yellow peppers, zinc (lentils, pumpkin and hemp seeds), omega-3 (salmon, hemp seeds and walnuts), organic proteins (lots of greens such as kale and spinach), anti-microbial foods (thyme, rosemary and nettle tea) and healthy fats (avocado, almonds, brazil nuts and pine nuts).

2) Face Gym

We are often told by our mothers not to put our hands in our face. Whilst this is a good piece of advice, receiving professional face massages or facials vitalise and get the blood circulation in your face pumping, says Masoost Sandrine Forstin from Anmoveda. Also known as face gym Sandrine Forstin continues “It is like exercise for the face as the movements help to push the fat cells into the tissues and effectively tone our faces”. We cans also exercise at home using a jade roller. By rolling it from the inside to the outside on our forehead and underneath our eyes, we can help to retain our face shapes in a natural way.

3) Hydrate

We often forget to moisturise the top part of our back as its a hard place to get to. Try using a neutral cream that doesn’t contain perfume, which could lead to further irritation. E45 or nivea are good examples of neutral creams that can give your upper back more moisture.

4) Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize

This is probably one of the most important parts of making your skin look healthy and alive. Moisturizing our skin, is just like giving food to our skin. There are so many products out there and it is important to find the correct one for you. Using a face moisturizer with a SPF factor kills a bird with two stones as too much sun exposure can damage skin cells, leaving your skin. We recommend the nivea face cream with SPF factor 30. Avoid exposing your face, neck and décotée to wind, which raises a red flag to wrinkles.
