How to Get Firm Skin
Skin care has become more important than ever. Our skin becomes exposed to dirt, UV rays and pollution every day, making our skin lose its elasticity. It also leaves our skin feel worn out and tired. We have tried and tested some natural methods that will help you to protect your skin.
Vitamin C
Eating vitamin C is one of the key ingredients to healthy and firm skin. Red and yellow peppers, oranges and lemons are just a few foods to name. There are also many creams, which have vitamin C in their products. Applying vitamin C to the surface of your skin can help feed your skin with vital nutrients that help combat inflammation and damage caused by the sun, dirt and pollution.
Dry brushing
Using a natural bristle brush, gently brush your skin in a circular motion towards your heart. Start with your legs and move up to the upper half of your body and your arms. A cold shower afterwards and a good moisturiser will leave your skin feeling fresh and smooth. It is recommended to dry brush in the morning after your morning shower as it will give you that extra kick before you start work.

Avoid the sun
The sun is your skin’s worst enemy. Less exposure to the sun, steers you away from skin damage and wrinkles. Even in winter, it is advisable to apply sun cream. This doesn’t mean wearing sun cream every day, but buying skincare or make up products that have at least SPF 30 in them. We have tried the Nivea day cream with SPF 30 and are very happy with the results.
Water
Water is the easiest and cheapest product out there to keep our skin looking fresh and healthy. Remember to drink a lot of water in the summer months, after sport or yoga and after a night out to keep yourself hydrated. The benefits are amazing.
